STATEWIDE CRIMINAL RECORDS

- Criminal Records are compiled from state records and repositories from most states.
(Not all states have statewide searches available)

- Generally covers all counties in state

- Great beginning search to uncover a records in state

- Recommended to confirm 'hits' with county level search

- Cost vary due to state fee and court access fees

NATIONAL & STATE CRIMINAL DATABASE SEARCHES

- This search is most often used as a beginning search for clients

- Pulls from hundreds of jurisdictions from across the country

- All 'hits' should be confirmed by pulling a county level record

- Instant style report due to computer searching another computer

- Not compliant under FCRA requirements (Unless all hits are confirmed)
